“Destined Love: The Tale of Julius and Beulah”

The story of Julius and Beulah, as seen through their own eyes, is a testament to the extraordinary journey that brought them together. It all began in August 2001, during a CAMSA USA convention barbecue in Maryland, just days after Beulah’s arrival in the United States. Introduced by Roseline, Julius’s younger sister and Beulah’s high school classmate, their initial meeting was nothing more than a casual introduction, devoid of any ulterior motives.

The spark between them truly ignited in March 2002 at a family funeral in Washington, D.C. A strange and rapid connection unfolded, leaving both of them at a loss for words. Julius, on a brief weekend break from his active military service, and Beulah embarked on a series of dinners, club outings, parties, and convention gatherings whenever his military duties allowed, forging a long-distance relationship.

However, in August 2002, after returning from a CAMSA convention in Dallas, unforeseen challenges disrupted their bond. A wave of confusion, seemingly orchestrated by outside forces, drove a wedge between them, turning them into bitter enemies with no discernible cause. They ceased communication for two long years.

October 6th, 2004, stands as a day etched in their memory. Beulah selected a low-key location in D.C. for her LPN board exams, hoping for an uninterrupted experience. To her surprise, fate had different plans when she spotted her former adversary, Julius Ade, at the exam center. She couldn’t help but wonder why he was there on that particular day, in that specific place.

As Julius approached, their eyes met, and mutual shock was palpable. Rather than confrontation, a smile broke the ice, rekindling the spark they once shared. In that moment, it was as though their past conflicts had never existed. Simultaneously, they asked, “What are you doing here?” Julius, now taking his RN board exams, had transitioned from active U.S. Army duty to the exam room next to Beulah’s.

Wishing each other luck, they parted ways for their respective exams. Although they couldn’t reconnect immediately, Julius managed to find Beulah’s contact information and reached out the following day. Her heart raced with excitement as the memory of their time together flooded her thoughts. They rekindled their connection with a date that marked the beginning of a swift-moving romance.

Within just three months of reconnection, Beulah and Julius found themselves engaged, leading to their wedding in June 2005. They have spent years reflecting on that extraordinary encounter, convinced that it was a divine intervention.

Today, as they celebrate their 20th anniversary, Beulah and Julius have built a beautiful family with three children: Vanessa-Juliah, Prinz-Jordan, and Chloe-LaReine. Their journey is a testament to the belief that destiny has a plan of its own.

In Beulah’s words, “If I had to choose a husband again, I would only choose Julius Ade. I am indeed a happy woman because I married my soulmate. He understands me more than anyone; he uses my flaws to design my crown. Julius will protect me with every breath in him, and I trust him with my life. I’ve always prayed to God to give me a husband of my dreams, and God answered my prayer to bless me with my king – Coolio Ade.”

From Julius’s perspective, their love story is equally profound. He reflects on the day of his RN board exams in October 2004, where destiny brought Beulah back into his life. Their bond was rekindled, and their love story continued to evolve, leading them to their 20th wedding anniversary. He acknowledges Beulah as his steadfast companion, his anchor, and his greatest blessing. Together, they’ve ventured into the world of entrepreneurship, building dreams and a family with Vanessa-Juliah, Prinz-Jordan, and Chloe-LaReine.

As they toast to their 20th anniversary, Julius is reminded of the quote, “Love conquers all.” With Beulah by his side, his heart is full, and their love remains unwavering. Their journey is a testament to the belief that destiny has a plan of its own, and the chapters ahead promise endless love and cherished memories for the Ade family.
