August 15, 2001

First Time We Met

I first met Julius in August of 2001 at a CAMSA USA convention barbecue in Maryland, barely days into my arrival in the U.S. We were introduced to each other by his younger sister Roseline, my high school classmate. It was just a casual introduction with no ulterior motive intended.

March 09, 2002

We Ran Into Each Other Again

In March 2002, we ran into each other again at a family funeral in Washington DC. This time, there was a weird and fast connection which I couldn’t really explain.

June 14, 2005

He asked?..She said Yes

Barely 3 months into our reconnection, we got engaged and were married in June of 2005.
